ABSTRACT
Named Data Networking (NDN) and its application in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) are the subjects of this presentation, which is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of NDN. The journey begins with its fundamental principles and extends to its specific implications and challenges within IoT and MANET contexts. NDN will be introduced, with its core concept of content-centric networking being outlined as a contrast to traditional IP-based systems. Attention will then be given to the specific issues that are encountered when NDN is implemented in IoT and MANET environments, such as scalability, security concerns, and the dynamic nature of network topologies. Finally, various NDN routing algorithms will be compared in terms of efficiency, reliability, and adaptability in the challenging landscapes of IoT and MANETs.
