ABSTRACT
In the contemporary landscape, the increasing demand for data-intensive applications, including e-commerce websites, social media platforms, streaming services, and IoT applications, has elevated the importance of speed in data retrieval. Consequently, key-value stores supporting low latency and high throughput have gained significant popularity. Nevertheless, utilizing distributed key-value stores in the IoT domain within resource-constrained environments remains a formidable challenge. IoT sources often generate vast amounts of data, necessitating the selective storage of critical information to minimize CPU costs and maximize throughput. Furthermore, redundancy is essential to prevent the loss of critical data. This seminar aims to address these challenges by proposing a solution for efficiently eliminating non-critical IoT data and storing it in a fault-tolerant distributed in-memory key-value store.
