From the Director

Dear Prospective Graduate Students,

The primary goal of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences at Yeditepe University is to provide graduate programs that help students become adept at academic research and become recognized researchers and scientists in the world. In addition, it is the responsibility of our School to promote the development of new graduate programs in science and engineering, support international cooperation with universities, and coordinate joint theses. In today’s world, interdisciplinary research fields are gaining great significance and it is our strategic goal to plan and develop new graduate programs in these fields as well.

Currently, we offer master’s and doctorate programs in architecture, physics, mathematics, computer engineering, biotechnology, electrical and electronics engineering, chemical engineering mechanical engineering and industrial and systems engineering.

All of our departments are equipped with the latest technology and research laboratories. Our faculty is comprised of experienced and young researchers in a balanced way. Our faculty members are active in carrying out TÜBİTAK / EU research funded and industry-sponsored projects.
A part of our graduate students obtain bursaries from University funds. Some students are funded from research projects. University funds are also available for students presenting their research papers at national and international conferences. In addition, incentive awards are given each year to the publications in SCI-E indexed journals.

As of Spring 2018 semester, 281 doctoral, 338 master’s with thesis and 2 master’s without thesis students are registered to our programs. So far, a total of 81 students have obtained doctoral degrees and 472 students have obtained MSc degrees from our School.
